ARMA Design Envisions Growth in San Diego with New Satellite Office

SAN DIEGO, CA - Thursday, June 1, 2006

San Diego-based ARMA Design, an electronic design, development and manufacturing firm, is growing locally—by opening an office out-of-state. The new ARMA Arkansas Research and Development Center in Little Rock will funnel work into San Diego, explains Alex McKay, President and CEO. Doors to the satellite office opened June 1.

"The Little Rock office expands ARMA’s client base and design resources, which will facilitate our growth right here in San Diego. There are a lot of companies in and near Little Rock who could use our services, and a lot of interest in what we have to offer," says McKay. The office is the first of several satellite offices that ARMA plans to open in the near future. The company currently employs approximately 40 in-house personnel and contractors.

Little Rock native Keith Wheeler heads up the research and development center. Wheeler came to work at ARMA’s San Diego office ten years ago and has moved back to his home town to establish the office there.

ARMA provides turnkey electronic product design and development services as well as manufacturing capabilities. McKay founded ARMA Design in 1990 to "help companies with commercial, consumer and industrial applications turn ideas into reality," he says.
