An Exciting Time for Growth and Expansion at ARMA
Building on strategic growth that began last year with the company's first satellite office, ARMA Design continues to meet customer demand with facility expansions, new hires and machinery.
"Customers look to ARMA for worry-free electronic product development that delivers quality along with time and cost savings. We're keeping up with demand and growing for the future," says CEO Alex McKay. ARMA Design provides turnkey electronic product design, development and manufacturing services.
The first quarter of 2007 has brought new employees and expansions at both ARMA locations.
At the San Diego headquarters, manufacturing space has expanded by 25 percent and the staff has six new additions in engineering, sales and materials management. Changes in engineering management allow McKay to concentrate on "big picture" issues such as customer service, marketing and expansion.
The ARMA Arkansas Research & Development Center in Little Rock, which opened in May 2006, also continues to grow this year. Three new engineers have been added while office space has doubled. The Little Rock staff provides additional support and opens up new avenues of serving customers.
"We're focused on growing and staying on the forefront with our technology and capabilities," says McKay, noting last year's purchase of a leading edge rapid prototype 3D printer.
ARMA will continue to grow with satellite offices throughout the United States in the years ahead, says McKay, who founded the company in San Diego in 1990. For now, he is researching Seattle and Vancouver as possible locations for the next office.
