ARMA Meets with Influential Little Rock News Makers

ARMA executives recently met with political leaders, business decision makers and the media to discuss the ongoing expansion of ARMA Design's Arkansas R&D Center. The warm reception quickly became enthusiasm as ARMA's execs reaffirmed their commitment to the continued growth of the 18 month old Design Center in Little Rock.

ARMA Design President Alex McKay and Keith Wheeler, General Manager of the Arkansas R&D Center, met with Arkansas Governor Mike Bebe at the State Capital to discuss ARMA's continued growth in the area. Governor Bebe was excited to learn of ARMA's vision for expansion including the capabilities and workforce of the Little Rock facility, while also helping to put Arkansas on par with other states by having high-tech product design, development, and manufacturing. Governor Bebe also pledged his support in helping ARMA recruit highly-skilled engineers to Little Rock.

The ARMA team of McKay and Wheeler were also featured on radio station KARN and in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. "The Arkansas R&D Center has proven to be a real plus for us," McKay said, referring to Wheeler's guidance of six engineers and his teams support of manufactures in the Southeast portion of the United States.

The ARMA Arkansas R&D Center and General Manager Keith Wheeler can be found on West Capitol Avenue in downtown Little Rock, serving companies with commercial, consumer and industrial applications. Keith Wheeler earned his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
