Facing the challenges of a rapidly changing economy in 2007, ARMA Design focused efforts on company growth and staying in the forefront with our technology and capabilities.
Since the beginning of 2007, we expanded manufacturing space in our San Diego headquarters by 25 percent and hired six new people in engineering, sales and materials management. The ARMA Arkansas Research & Development Center in Little Rock continued to expand with the addition of three engineers and 50 percent more office space.
Last year we extended our network of partners forging alliances with several key industry players including: Echelon's Independent Developers Program and Digital Home Alliance partners program that brings to market networked home control products based upon Echelon's open standards-based LonWorks® control networking technology; and, Cirrus Logic's Cobra Net 3rd Party Developers Program. In 2008, we look forward to more partners and offering them even more solutions.
ARMA Design also added several new clients during 2007 including: Hunter Manufacturing, Watkins Manufacturing Company, Digital Force Technology, TouchLink Golf, Intellefleet and L3-Southern California Microwave.
Our market exposure was greatly enhanced with the publication of several features in key publications such as The San Diego Business Journal, The San Diego Union-Tribune, Electronic Design Magazine among others.
